Foreword
Nowadays, media is a powerful tool of communication. People consider media as everything, and the world really needs it have in technological and economical growth. In fact, it’s hard to find people who uses print media like magazines and newspaper. There is no doubt that media is very important in our life. While on the other hand, there are also negative impacts of media in our lives it includes; depression and anxiety, cyber bullying, lack of physical activity, fake news and spread of misinformation that influence our thoughts about something. In conclusion, media is essential in our life but also we have to consider the ideas and details we gain from it, it must be legitimate and valid information. We are able to discern differences between legitimate and illegitimate through the study of media information and literacy because it enables people to interpret and make judgement about a certain information.

About the Author
Fiona Ysabel O. Gabon was born in Quezon City (2002). Currently, she is living in Batasan Hills, Quezon City. She is a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) student at Marikina Polytechnic College. She likes; singing, cooking and helping elders;. Her goal in life are simple; to finish college, to be healthy, and to be productive young citizen. Also, she likes making people happy, she want to took care for elder people. In this way, she is able to show her love and care to elder people.
